Leeds College of Building

We are the only specialist further education Construction College in the UK and we are based in one of the top cities in the country. Established in the 1960’s we have built up an enviable reputation both regionally and nationally. Courses are available at all levels and range from practical, work related programmes designed to prepare learners for work in a variety of trades, to academic courses that will help learners progress to further study. We are often commended on the high quality tuition, facilities and resources that the College provide and this is reflected in the success rates of our learners. The number of students has expanded in recent years due to the high level of interest in construction. There are currently around 7,000 learners, 36% of these are on apprenticeship courses and come to college on day or block release attendance. There is a friendly and sociable atmosphere at all of our sites and our staff work hard to ensure you achieve your goals and that you receive the support and guidance needed to succeed. Whatever course you choose, we are confident that you will build a successful career in construction.
